Supreme Court Rule 88.09 effective July 1, 2008 requires parties who are self-represented (do not have counsel) to complete a litigant awareness program. Any self-represented party participating in a case beyond signing an Entry of Appearance must complete the program (available online at www.selfrepresent.mo.gov), send the completion certificate to be filed with the Circuit Court, and forward a copy to the judge's office. Any party unable to access the online program should call court services at 816-736-8402 for assistance.
